COACHING
Share your passion. Build confidence. Inspire the next generation.
Coaching is a rewarding way to stay involved in netball while developing valuable leadership, communication and teamwork skills. We offer opportunities to coach across a range of ages and playing levels.
Willoughby United supports our coaches by funding the Netball Australia Foundation Coach Course, as well as providing coaching clinics, mentoring and support throughout the season.
Junior coaches can get started from age 14 and are welcome to coach alongside a friend. New or developing coaches can also begin as an assistant coach, working alongside an experienced coach to gain confidence and practical experience.
Our junior coaches are supported throughout the season with mentoring, feedback and guidance, helping them develop their coaching skills in a positive and supportive environment.
Coaches are paid for their coaching services, unless they are undertaking coaching as an approved volunteer service requirement, such as Duke of Edinburgh or school community service.
Coaching is a great way to give back to the sport, gain valuable experience and contribute to the next generation of Willoughby United players.
